Emma also wanted a purse. I'm so glad I asked her what she wanted because she had very specific ideas. A big pocket on the outside and Two handles that need to be long and skinny. And while it's nothing like I would have made her, she loves it, and that was the point of these projects. "Teach Emma to Love Sewing"

Emma has great taste. What a fun project. So great to let the kiddos lead and explore the world through their eyes. I need to do this with my little girl soon.
You are so cool :) I would have never even have thought to let Amelia help like that. She keeps begging me to let her sew, so maybe I need to do something like that!
What a sweet idea! I bet she LOVED it!
Awesome, now will you teach my kid to love fabric and sewing? Really, I'd pay for a day like that.
awwww how sweet!!! i love the fabric she picked out, and the projects. she did an awesome job!
Once again you make me wish I could sew...almost...
Just a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave today [23 Apr 02:00pm GMT]. Thanks, Maria
