I have been working on revamping my crafting room and making it more useful and appealing. I have had this mirror in storage for about 3 years.
It used to hang in my daughters nursery. It lovingly held binkies, toys and hair clips for us.
But now it is MINE!I covered the frame in some lovely Amy Butler fabric.

Exchanged the mirror for a piece of fabric covered cork.
Covered some old cereal tins with fabric, Mod Podged over them and hung them.

How COOL! I am so jealous...I don't have a craft room :( I love what you did!
looks great! i'm love when you do stuff like that!
great idea..I wish I had a craft room too...
LOVE! So very fun.
Formula cans rock! My husbnd thought I was crazy keeping them, but now I have them decorated pretty and they hold all sorts of stuff. Love the message board idea. I have an old window that I have been thinking about turning into a message board. I like the idea of hanging cans to have pens close!
really wondefull
That is a GREAT idea - function and gorgeous, what more can you ask?!? Love it!
What a great idea! I have been saving formula cans since my six year old was drinking it! I have a cabinet full, and I figured one day I would find something to do with them! Thanks for the great idea:)
This is ADORABLE! I love the board - a perfect place to hang inspirational photos, cut-outs from magazines, etc. I want to make one for my apt! If you love making things out of garbage, YAY!DIY coorespondent Alicia turned a healthy soup container into an adorable container that can hold things like lip glass, jewelery, paperclips, etc. Check it out: http://yaydiy.com/2010/02/a-soup-er-pretty-nightstand-holder/
